Wood is the symbol for 5th year wedding anniversaries. My husband and I planted the star magnolia tree 10 years ago in front of our house to celebrate our 5 years of marriage. The star magnolia flower is one of the first blooms in early spring.
Oftentimes, there are elements from our past that may bring back the not so good memories of childhood. For me, it was the images previously displayed in this frame.
I transformed this piece into something very different, something that represented my free spirit, my love for my new life with my husband and family.
